You work hard all week, take care of your kids, and keep your family and romantic relationships alive and well. But when was the last time you had a ladies night? Just you and the girls? It's funny how those relationships can sometimes go neglected - yet, research shows that having fun with your best buds strengthens your immune system, makes you happier and even helps you live longer!

So, do you really need any more reason to schedule in a night with your besties? And if you're stuck on ideas, Pure Pink Window has you covered!

Here are 5 unique ways to spend time with your girlfriends:

1. Host a wine-tasting party

Have each friend bring over a bottle of their favorite wine, then try some sips of each kind. (We won't judge if it ends up being more than a few sips, but please be responsible; bring your pj's and a toothbrush if you think you might make it a sleepover!) Gab over some delicious appies and just catch up on all the news in your worlds.

2. Have a mini-photo shoot

Help each other get glammed up and dolled out, then snap photos of each other against a sparkly backdrop, or plain wall. Remember the days of doing each other's hair and makeup? Well, now we have YouTube to help us perfect the smoky eye. We like this fun video, in particular, and are super impressed with her genius use of Scotch tape! (You'll have to see it to believe it!)

Go on and be glamorous!

May we also suggest some BLING from our selection of ladies jewelry? Remember, it's the accessories that make the outfit!

3. Try a new activity through Groupon

There are so many ways to freshen up ladies night, that go way beyond coffee and dessert! Pottery night, paint night, sky diving...well, you get the picture! And the best part is, if you go through Groupon, you get yourself a great deal, and have more leftover in your ladies night fund!

4. Experiment in the kitchen and come up with your own dessert

Maybe some of you are Pinterest-y bakers and some of you just like to eat what the other makes! Whatever your relationship with frosting and flour, see what happens when you all get together and start whipping ingredients together. Really, can you go terribly wrong with flour, butter, eggs and sugar? Maybe you'll even invent something you can show off on your Pinterest accounts! And hey, if you all wear your fancy aprons, you'll feel like you're all dressed up but in the comfort of your own home.

5. Get on your bikes and explore your city

If you and your girlfriends are up for an adventure, hop on your two-wheelers like you did when you were younger, and traipse about your city like tourists! Stop off at your favorite local hangouts or discover some new ones that you may have missed when you zip by in your cars. Fill your lungs with fresh air and enjoy some laughs, feeling like kids again. Pick up some fresh food from a local deli and make a picnic out of it at a nearby park. Be spontaneous and go where your hearts desire. After all, girls just wanna have fun, and we can find fun in all kinds of places!

We hope you try one or more of these out - and let us know when you do! We always love to hear your comments, so drop us a line below!

We're bringing you luxury in little-girl sizes to dress up your mini-me, favorite niece or other pint-sized loved one! Because, seriously, which little princess wouldn't look ADORABLE in this plush coat?

All of our colour options - white, beige or pink - are lined with fleece, with an ultra plush layer on top. We love the tulle that starts mid-way down the coat, and gives it a fancy, super-girly look! It makes the whole thing Sarah Jessica Parker-esque, don't you think?

The embellishments add more elegance while keeping the look young; the buttons and flowers are as sweet as she is. Topped off with a pin, this coat is perfect for special occasions in Fall, Winter and Spring.

We guarantee she'll get some oohs and aahs - and at this price, you'll be swooning, too!

I’m sitting down this morning to write this post with a big smile on my face and a glow in my heart. As the owner and founder of Pure Pink Window, my world is full of sparkly things and beautiful people –like you. For that I am truly grateful.

This dream venture was launched on two principles: self-love and following one’s heart. These principles are the cornerstone of a life lived fully and passionately. Knowing my two beautiful daughters are watching their mom’s every move, I decided to walk the talk – give them the permission to do what their heart desires as they grow into women. I want them to be fearless and confident and, most of all, to have fun doing whatever they choose to do.

Owning my own business means freedom – I can express who I am creatively, and I can begin and end each day with a deep satisfaction of having fulfilled another part of my dream. My business is also a vehicle for others. As the Pure Pink Window team grows, I can employ more women who share my vision and whose principles align with the company’s.

When I launched this dream, I wanted to create more than simply an online boutique of gifts and accessories; I want to provide you with what you need to feel good about yourselves and to take care of who you are – inside and out. The products I have carefully selected do that; they’re fun, glittery, unique and ultra-girly.

When life can be a chore, or the climb can feel uphill, Pure Pink Window is here to remind you that everything you feel strongly about is worth working hard for – but you can have some fun and look great while doing it, along the way!

I’d love to hear more about you in the comments below – this is a great space for us to get to know each other. I’ll be sharing more ‘behind-the-scenes’ scoop so stay tuned as we journey onward in 2015!

We are living in an age where technology allows us to create new things and change the way we did things before – the same goes for gifts. We can now give personalized gifts to our loved ones more easily than in the past.

Why Personalize ?

      1. Traditional  gifts are forgettable but personalized gifts are memorable
When we give gifts to our friends, how many of them will remember that gift after 10 years? Chances are none. Common gifts are forgettable while personalized gifts are memorable. The receiver will always think of you when he sees that gift. Research shows people love their name because their name defines them and makes them feel special and they will keep anything that has their name on it for a long time.

       2. Personalized gifts make people feel special
On my husband’s 30th birthday, I gave him a clock with his name engraved on it. I spent only $30 for that gift but I saw tears in his eyes. Seeing that melted my heart since I had never seen him cry.  After that I’ve given him $600 golf clubs, game tickets, his favorite music collection but he never cried. Personalized gifts show the receiver that you really took that extra step to make them feel special by finding that perfect gift just for them.

     3.  They commemorate occasions
Personalized gifts can be given on any occasion but many people like to give it on a special event like a baby shower, prom , graduation, wedding shower, sweet 16th birthday, Christmas or throughout the year. Gift cards will be used, clothes will get old, cups will break, but personalized gifts will always be there to stay.

     4. Kids get a kick out of it
Kids just love to see their name on gifts….period. If my daughter could, she would write her name on everything she owns. She likes to put her name on her bedroom door, her wall, her backpack… and when I gave her a personalized lunch box and accessory kit, the only thing I got in return was hugs and kisses. They love to feel special and giving a personalized gift is icing on their cake.

    5. I want a personalized gift for myself
People like to give personalized gifts because they want someone else to give one to them. It’s true, I always wanted someone to give me a gift with my name on it but we can’t tell anyone what to give us so I give personalized gifts to feel happy and make others happy ;)

So, give a gift of love. Don’t just give any gift- personalize it and make it a gift for life!!

At Pure Pink Window, we strive to make your life prettier and easier! If you are all about serving up decadence without breaking too much of a sweat in the kitchen, this recipe is just for you!

Whether you are taking dessert to your friend's party, or hosting your family dinner this Christmas, whip up a plate of Toblerone Fudge and then sit back and wait for the compliments to pour in.

A plate of fudge goes best paired with any of these 5 unique hostess gifts we told you about! Enjoy!

Easy Toblerone Fudge

1 bar (400 g) Toblerone Swiss Milk Chocolate, separated into triangle pieces
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup evaporated milk

1. Prepare an 8" baking pan by lining it with parchment paper, leaving enough paper hanging over the sides to form handles.
2. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, stir together the sugar, butter and milk until well combined.
3. Stir continuously until the mixture starts to bubble.
4. Remove from heat and add Toblerone pieces. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Pour into prepared pan.
5. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
6. Lift up the parchment paper handles and move fudge to a chopping board.
7. Cut into squares, wiping down knife between cuts.
